After completion of the Blended Learning Course, this provides the hands-on-skills session to complete the AHA certification with an AHA Instructor.

Prerequisites:

• HeartCode PALS: The online prerequisite must be completed prior to attending the skills session; the online "key" to access this program can be added at the time of registration

• Mandatory PreCourse Self Assessment: American Heart Association (AHA) PALS Pre Course 

   The PALS Precourse Self-Assessment is an online tool that evaluates a student’s knowledge before the course to determine their proficiency and identify any need for additional review and practice. All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before taking the PALS Course. Students must print their scoring report and bring it with them to class.

If the prerequisite has been obtained elsewhere, please provide your Certificate of Completion via email, along with the PreCourse Assessment Scoring Report prior to the Skills Session.
